We expect to continue to top the charts as more customers deal with an unrelenting flow of information. When it is all integrated, the resulting panoramic view of the business is unlike anything seen before. Forward-thinking companies are already seizing the opportunity afforded by all this new insight and leveraging it to their favor.

We always welcome opportunities to have Teradata compared to others because we’re confident in the advanced state of our technology and our value proposition. We know that compared to all others, Teradata has the best price to performance ratio for diverse customer requirements, from entry-level appliances to high-end enterprise data warehouses. But of course, a technology advantage is not enough. We earned our place also through customer satisfaction, a more important measurement.

Analysts evaluate Teradata against its competitors once a year, and when they do, they issue a report. Customers evaluate Teradata in data centers every day, and their choices are revealed in the technology investment they make.

As our CEO, Mike Koehler, said in the Q3 earnings call with analysts, a significant part of our growth comes from the decisions of companies to replace the technology of our competitors.

While we always welcome evaluations by analysts, it’s the evaluations by customers that we welcome the most.
