“Teradata feels that it’s very important to give back not only to local communities, but also to engage employees and customers to give back at PARTNERS,” Susan Baxley, Teradata director of community relations, told Teradata Magazine.
Baxley expected between 200 and 300 volunteers to participate Tuesday afternoon. The Teradata Cares areas in the convention center were overflowing with employees and customers who wanted to show their support.
This is the third annual Bike Brigade at PARTNERS. The bikes, along with helmets and padlocks, will be given to the Boys and Girls Club for kids who have achieved better grades, helped other children, or helped with the Club. The blankets will be given to The Project Linus Mission, which distributes them to children in need. The group has donated more than 3 million blankets since 1995.
Teradata Cares is active in 45 cities in 14 countries. It is dedicated to building better communities and improving peoples’ quality of life.
