A new study by TEK Systems, the latest in a large range of big data studies this year, reveals that there exists a reality gap with big data initiatives. The study surveyed 3,500 IT leaders and IT professionals from around the world to gain a better understanding of the current state of big data initiatives. The infographic shows that while big data is viewed as impacting organizations on a large scale, IT leaders are under the impression that they have progressed further than IT professionals can verify.
