Danese has a wealth of experience and recognition in the open-source world: previously, she created and managed the Open Source Programs Office for Sun Microsystems, and most recently was the senior director for open-source strategies for Intel. Danese will continue her role as a board member of the Open Source Initiative, promoting open-source software.
