Predictive Analytics in the Cloud

In conjunction with Smart Data Collective, Decision Management Solutions just completed a multi-stage study to see how companies can get value from this intersection. Areas of study included cloud-based predictive analytic applications such as marketing, fraud detection and customer service; the use of cloud data sources to drive analytic models; analytic modeling in the cloud; and cloud-based deployment of analytic models.

Primary research for this study included a survey of business and technical professionals. Over 2/3 of survey respondents report cloud-based predictive analytics solutions as having real potential with customer acquisition, development and retention the top drivers. Early adopters are positioning themselves to take increasing advantage of this exciting class of solutions, potentially widening the competitive gap between them and slower adopters.
